These defenses took place from October 30 to November 2, 2023 in the presence of supervisors, academics and other civil aviation experts, including the Director General of Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority, Mrs. Paule ASSOUMOU KOKI. They come at the end of ten (10) months of intense theoretical and practical studies led by experts from the aeronautical industry (highly experienced senior aeronautical maintenance engineers, aircraft airworthiness specialists, renowned pilots and a college of professors from the National School of Engineering in Yaoundé).
The research themes all stemming from the internships focused on areas such as: aircraft maintenance, continuing airworthiness management, and aircraft dismantling and recycling.
The results presented by the learners were highly appreciated by the various juries and could certainly be used as an implementation or to improve the flight safety of some local organizations/operators such as Cameroon Airlines Corporation (Camair-Co), Caverton Helicopters Lagos (CHL), Caverton Aviation Cameroon, and ZEJET S.A.
It should be noted that at the end of their studies, graduates will be able to access various positions in approved maintenance organizations or in other civil aviation structures in Cameroon or abroad.
This high-level technical and practical training at the CCAA Training School is open to holders of an engineering degree in the following fields: mechanics, electricity, electrical engineering, industrial, electromechanics and telecommunications for a period of twelve (12) months.
