Solemn ceremony for awarding certificates to CAMRA learners

14 graduates of the Aircraft Maintenance and Recycling cycle “CAMRA”, received their diplomas on January 31, 2024 at the Training School (EFO) of the Aeronautical Authority during a ceremony presided over by the Minister of Transport, Mr. NGALLE BIBEHE Ernest Masséna, in the presence of the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, the Chairman of the Council of the CCAA, the Director General of the CCAA and many stakeholders in civil aviation.
This first initial aviation training in Cameroon combined the professional needs and academic requirements of higher education. It thus opens up great career prospects in the civil aviation industry to the winners who can now manage the continued airworthiness of aircraft, manage aircraft maintenance, reduce their maintenance costs and manage aircraft at the end of their life.
This training was designed and implemented thanks to the successful partnership established between the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique de Yaoundé in November 2021.
It should be noted that the EFO CCAA intends to continue its training program as advocated by the public authorities. A call for applications for the selection of 20 candidates for the second promotion of the CAMRA cycle has already been launched and the deadline for submission of applications is February 2024. In the very short term, other initial training, in particular to provide domestic airports with competent multidisciplinary staff, is in sight.
