41st ICAO Assembly: The President of the Council receives the delegation from Cameroon

The President of the Council, Salvatore SCIACCHITANO, warmly welcomed this September 29, 2022 in his cabinet, the Cameroonian delegation led by the Minister of Transport, Jean Ernest Masséna NGALLÈ BIBÉHÈ.
During the exchanges, the President welcomed the cooperation that has always existed with Cameroon and appreciated its contribution at the ICAO level through its representation and its many experts. Following him, the MINT praised the constantly renewed support of ICAO for Cameroon and took advantage of this appropriate opportunity to relaunch certain aspects of cooperation, in particular that of the training of personnel in the aviation sector. civil. Another highlight of this meeting was the presentation of a certificate to Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority training school which follows the renewal of its approval as a training center of the ICAO Trainair Plus network. . Indeed, following the adhesion of the training school to this system, the said certificate is renewed every three years after an evaluation of the infrastructures, equipment, human resources, procedures and work tools by experts from ICAO. It was therefore following a satisfactory audit/assessment carried out by these experts last April that this certificate was awarded on September 29, 2022, to the CCAA training school. This certificate confers on the school the quality of member of the network of the Trainair Plus program of the ICAO which is a network of training centers which demonstrate a high level of competence and offer training of excellence in the professions of aviation. civil. The renewal of this certification is proof that this school continues to demonstrate a high level of compliance with ICAO training requirements and thus positions Cameroon as a center for the development of civil aviation skills in the sub-region.
